Wong Cheuk-fai—Executive Director

Wong Cheuk-fai is one of the founding members of the Huatong Wing Lee Group and is currently an Executive Director of the Group, responsible for business development. He also serves as a director of Hong Kong Jiaxin Group, a group specializing in the distribution of high-end products, including automobiles and yachts, and acting as a Lamborghini dealer in Hong Kong and Guangzhou, China.

Prior to founding Huatong Wing Lee, Wong Cheuk-fai was the Institutional Sales Manager at Sun Hung Kai Financial Group, focusing on institutional clients in Singapore and Europe. Wong Cheuk-fai has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry and is skilled in advising on special cases, project management, and transaction execution.

Wong Cheuk-fai holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Hong Kong and is a licensed officer under Type 1 (Dealing in Securities), Type 4 (Advising on Securities), and Type 9 (Asset Management) licenses issued by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission.

He speaks fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the piano and is also a basketball and Formula One racing enthusiast.

Xu Cheng - Executive Director

Xu Cheng is one of the founders of Huatong Yongli Group and currently serves as its Executive Director, responsible for the group's and its subsidiaries' operational management, target setting, and the establishment of management and oversight structures.

Xu Cheng has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, specializing in institutional trading and trade execution. Prior to founding Huatong Yongli, Xu Cheng worked at Sun Hung Kai Financial Group, responsible for stock trading and fundraising projects. Xu Cheng has worked closely with private equity funds, hedge funds, and long-term equity funds in Greater China, participating in numerous transactions, including IPOs, secondary placements, and equity offerings across various industries.

Xu Cheng graduated from Durham University, UK, with a Master's degree in Financial Investment and a Bachelor's degree in Business Finance.

He is a licensed officer with Type 1 (Securities Dealing), Type 4 (Advising on Securities), and Type 9 (Asset Management) licenses from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. Xu Cheng is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. His interests include reading, running, and enjoying drinks and conversation with close friends. He also holds a Hong Kong recreational boat operator's certification.

Robert Law Chee Weng, Executive Director

Robert Law Chee Weng is currently the Executive Director for Singapore and the Global Chief Investment Officer of JVSaKK.

As a Senior Representative licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (License No. LCW100001860), Robert Law Chee Weng has over two decades of experience in international finance and asset management. He excels at using macroeconomic analysis and diversified asset allocation to help clients achieve long-term wealth growth with controlled risk and stable returns.

Under his leadership, JVSaKK has successfully built a diversified global investment system, covering the Asia-Pacific, Americas, and European markets, consistently maintaining excellent investment returns and a reputation for sound fund management. He adheres to the investment philosophy of "steady progress and value-based approach," and is committed to transforming professional strategies and market insights into sustainable returns for clients.

He excels in cross-market multi-asset allocation, portfolio management with a balanced emphasis on fixed income and equities, and private equity and alternative investment strategies. His personally designed "Global Balanced Yield Portfolio" is renowned for its stable returns and low volatility, consistently ranking among the top performers in the industry in terms of average annualized returns over the past few years.

Milestones in the Development of Huitong Yongli Group

2025

The establishment of a branch in Singapore by JVSaKK further expands its Asian financial footprint, marking a new stage in the Group's journey towards regional asset management and cross-border financial services.

The Singapore branch focuses on asset allocation for high-net-worth clients, family office management, and the design and operation of regional fund investment products. The branch also actively aligns with the regulatory framework of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to establish a compliant and efficient investment management system, providing clients in the Asia-Pacific region with professional services that combine an international perspective with local depth.

To support business expansion, the Group also upgraded its digital asset management platform in the same year, introducing artificial intelligence and quantitative analysis models to further enhance investment decision-making efficiency and risk management capabilities. This move symbolizes another important milestone for JVSaKK in financial technology and global expansion.

2019

The number of licensed asset management representatives exceeds 50.

The Hong Kong Monetary Clearing Limited was commissioned to study the potential of applying distributed ledger technology in the capital market. By integrating blockchain technology, it has successfully established a prototype of a central bank digital currency. This lays a revolutionary foundation for the operation of virtual asset trading platforms.

2018

The Group's shareholders acquired one of the system providers of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. This company primarily develops specialized custom trading software and market-making software that connects directly to the exchange's open gateway.

The Group's shareholders established a licensed trust company to complement the JVSaKK's multi-family office and fund management business.

2017

Established Huitong Yongli Insurance Business Co., Ltd., aiming to provide insurance services to clients through our global network of international insurance companies.

2015

Group client assets approached US$500 million.

Signed an exclusive agreement with a listed company on Malaysia's largest market share securities trading system to jointly develop a cross-border direct access securities trading platform in the Southeast Asian market.

2014

Launched the third hedge fund - Shanheng China Value Fund.

Partnered with Amicorp Hong Kong to provide enterprise solutions and fund services.

2013

Launch of the second hedge fund - QED Capital Value Fund.

Huitong Yongli International Real Estate Co., Ltd. was established to provide real estate agency services for the Group's international clients.

2012

The Group's client assets reached US$100 million.

Acquired a 15-year-old Hong Kong securities brokerage firm, a Type 1 licensed company authorized by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. This made the Group an exchange participant on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, enabling it to provide unauthorized account management and securities margin financing services. The securities company was renamed Huitong Yongli Asia Limited.

A joint venture with the Bahamas Deltec Bank & Trust Group, Daoyuan Asset Management, was established to provide family office services and alternative investment opportunities.

2011

Regarding the independent third-party wealth management business model, we partnered with renowned global private banks to provide comprehensive financial products and private banking services.

2010

The Group officially commenced operations with US$2 million in client assets, launching its first hedge fund – the Huatong Yongli Greater China Opportunities Fund.

Introducing the Swiss independent third-party wealth management business model, we expanded into discretionary portfolio management services.

2009

Prepared and established the first fund. The fund was successfully registered in the Cayman Islands.

2008

On August 28, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission authorized Huitong Yongli Asset Management Limited to engage in regulated business activities of providing securities advice (Type 4) and asset management (Type 9).

2007

On June 26, the Group's first company, Huitong Yongli Asset Management Limited, was established.
